Programme Organiser

As the Programme Organiser, you would be responsible for the organisation and planning of a creative, active and fun-filled activity programme which you will implement together with the Activity Teamers. Teamwork is an important part of your job and you should be prepared to deliver a high level of service. Ideally, you have already gained experience working with children and young people. You like to manage a team and have good communication and interpersonal/management skills. 

Your tasks:

• Development of an integrated activity programme with the framework of our quality standards
• Motivating participants to take part in all programme activities
• Coordination of the programme events
• Stage presence and ability to guide the participants and teamers
• Resource management 
• Close coordination with the rest of the management team
  
  
• be able to organise needs based activity programmes including sports, workshops, arts and crafts and excursions
• be open minded, flexible, reliable and motivating
• be able to work closely and constructively with the local management teams
• be customer focused at all times 
• be at ease in talking in front of people and at ease in with parents if necessary management team

Your profile:

• Minimum 18 years old 
• Very good English language skills
• Experience in working with children
• Creative, fun and outgoing personality with innovative ideas
• Work independently
• Communicate well

 Formal aspects:

• 250€ per week
• Single or twin accommodation plus full-board meals
• Travel allowance of 100 euros
• First aid certificate (8 hours certification)
• Police clearance certificate
• You need to complete one of our online training events that take place leading up to the camps

YTA Training events are held online in the period 
(tba)

Time frame and specifications for the Programme Organisers (seasonal):

For all Language Camps you will need at least a near native speaker level of English.
For the Girls Camp you need to be female and ideally have at least some German language skills.
